Tirana/ information office/ 16/12/2016, The Prime Minister of Albania, His Excellency Mr. Edi Rama received H.E.Dr. Hamad bin Abdul Aziz Al-Kuwari, Adviser at the Emiri Diwan and Qatar's Candidate for the Post of the Director General of UNESCO.
During the meeting it was discussed about bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of strengthening and developing them.
The Qatari candidate presented his vision for the development of UNESCO and the promotion of culture, education and preservation of the world heritage.
The Albanian Prime Minister expressed his admiration for the State of Qatar and its great achievements at different levels, additionally he expressed his desire to further deepen the areas of cooperation  between the two countries.
The Prime Minister of Albania also officially declared the support of the Republic of Albania for the candidate of the State for the post of Director General of UNESCO.
Present at the meeting was Mr. Awadh Naja Al-Hababi, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Republic of Albania.
