Tirana / Information office / 16/12/2016, The Minister of Culture of the Republic of Albania, Her Excellency Mrs. Mirela Kumbaro received H.E.Dr. Hamad bin Abdul Aziz Al-Kuwari, Adviser at the Emiri Diwan and Qatar's Candidate for the Post of the Director General of UNESCO.
During the meeting it was discussed about bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of strengthening and developing them.
The Qatari candidate presented his vision for the development of UNESCO and the promotion of culture, education and preservation of the world heritage.
Present at the meeting was Mr. Awadh Naja Al-Hababi, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Republic of Albania.
